The marketer’s brain finally catches up with your hand: use Vibe Coding to turn ideas into online works on the same day
*▲ When AI is so powerful that it can help you make almost anything, the ability to think of good ideas and describe them clearly becomes the rarest and most valuable ability. *
A scene that you and I are familiar with
Let me say one thing first, and you will probably nod in agreement.
One afternoon, a perfect idea pops into your head. You have thought about what the main visual should look like, what tone the copy should be in, and how the page should be laid out from top to bottom. You even have a plan for which screen the buttons should be placed on. You excitedly write it into a requirements document, send it to the designer, schedule it into the engineer’s schedule, and then start waiting.
The first time I came back, the pattern was right, but the color was not what you wanted. The second time I came back, the color matching was improved, but the interaction effect was stuck. The third, fourth, fifth time… During the process of revising back and forth, you find that you spend more energy communicating than thinking of ideas. By the time the page is actually online, the opportunity you most want to seize has often passed.
Yes, this is the invisible ceiling above marketers: your head can run faster than your hands, but your hands are tied. You don’t lack creativity, what you lack is the way to turn your creativity into real works.
*▲ The invisible ceiling above marketers: The head runs faster than the hands, but the hands are tied. *
Over the past twenty years, I have worked as an engineer, product manager, reporter, editor, e-commerce businessman, consultant, and wrote twenty books. Honestly, I know this feeling of being stuck all too well. And this year, I watched the ceiling being demolished with my own eyes, so I want to talk to you about it seriously.
Vibe Coding is not about writing programs, it is about describing
Let’s talk about the conclusion first: the thing that takes down that wall is called Vibe Coding.
Vibe means atmosphere, atmosphere. The spirit of Vibe Coding is that you use conversations and daily language to describe what you want, and AI helps you make it. You don’t have to understand any line of code, you don’t have to memorize loops, variables, or functions. You just need to explain the picture in your mind clearly.
I often tell my students: 70% of the quality of Vibe Coding depends on your description ability, and only 30% depends on AI technology.
*▲ The quality of Vibe Coding depends 70% on your description ability and only 30% on AI technology. *
Did you find out? The ability to describe is one of the skills that marketers have mastered most in their lives.
What do we usually do? When writing plans, making proposals, writing reports and designing briefs, there is nothing that is not describing. We need to lock in the target audience, explain the marketing appeal clearly, and explain a vague concept to the boss so that the boss can understand it and the customer is willing to pay. These skills can be put to use almost unchanged in the scene of Vibe Coding.
That’s why I say that marketers are the most suitable group of people in the world to walk through this door. Not an engineer, not a professional with a background in information science, but you.
This is not a word of comfort. Why are descriptions so valuable? Because in the description, there are three core things of marketing: positioning, audience and appeal. When you can accurately describe who a website is intended to show, what problems it is intended to solve, and what actions it wants the other person to perform, the finished product produced by AI will be much better than others. This is why I have always emphasized that [before building any website, you must first learn to think from others’ perspective] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/before-designing-an-official-website-please). I have seen too many people learn Vibe Coding, and the website interfaces they create are actually similar, but the maturity level is very different. The difference is not in the technology, but in the description.
From “thinking with AI” to “doing with AI”
In the past two or three years, everyone has been using ChatGPT, but most of them have stayed in the question and answer mode: help me write a copy, help me organize meeting minutes, and it will be given to you right away. That’s good, it makes you think faster.
But have you ever noticed that the answers given by AI are probably at the level of 50 or 60? It’s not bad, but it’s hard to say how good it is, and now that everyone is using the same set of tools, the answers they get are becoming more and more similar.
What really widens the gap is the evolution from “thinking with AI” to “doing with AI.”
*▲ What really widens the gap is the evolution from “thinking with AI” to “doing with AI.” *
This is the difference between AI agent and simple question and answer. Q&A is a question and answer. Agent means you give it a task or a topic. It will think, execute, connect the tools in your hand, and finally deliver a result. When you know Vibe Coding, you have the ability to turn the ideas in your head into a work that is actually usable, has a website, and can be shared with others.
I really like the idea of a set of contrasts, the archive and the work.
I guess there must be a lot of projects, documents and briefings lying on your computer. But those things are only visible to you. They are called files. When you put it on the Internet and have a URL, anyone can open it, play it, appreciate it and even learn it, then it is called a work. What Vibe Coding makes up for is this last mile from archives to works.
And I have to be honest, it’s still early days for AI. The term Vibe Coding only appeared last spring, and it has only been more than a year now. According to the information I have read, among global AI users, those who actually pay and use AI for development account for about 0.04%. In other words, if you start now, you will already be in the leading group. This time difference is a bonus that only exists now. It may not be available until next year or the year after everyone catches up.
Speed is the new moat for marketers
I want to spend a little more space talking about something that many people overlook: speed.
Information is exploding and tools are everywhere. In such an environment, whether you do it quickly or not often determines whether an opportunity is yours or someone else’s. In the past, it often took weeks or even months to go from an idea to a usable thing, separated by requirement documents, design, development, testing, and modification. Now, this distance can be reduced to hours or even half an hour.
*▲ In an era where tools are everywhere, whether you do it quickly or not often determines whether the opportunity is yours or someone else’s. *
My own current work rhythm is like this: when an idea suddenly pops up in the middle of the night, I will first take a simple note on my mobile phone; I will start working on it as soon as I turn on the computer the next morning, and often the prototype will be out and the website will be online in the morning. What’s even better is that sometimes I give a task to AI before going to bed, leave the computer on and let it run for me all night, and I can see the results when I wake up the next day. To be honest, this was unthinkable before.
You may ask, what should I do if I don’t do it well that time? The answer is: Program development is never done in one go. I have always told students to seek success before perfection, and to complete before perfection. None of my websites or tools were completed in one go. I first set up the main structure and then slowly revised it round by round. This kind of dialogue, and the rhythm of approaching what you think is exactly what marketers are most familiar with: we do A/B testing and iterative optimization, this is how we work.
So speed is not just fast, it is a kind of confidence. When you can put the first version on the market to test the water temperature while your opponent is still writing the requirements document, you will have the upper hand and don’t have to wait for others or look at other people’s faces for everything.
I myself am one person’s operating system
It’s no use just reasoning, let me show you something real. These are not temporary demonstrations for any live broadcast, they are tools I use every day.
I started Vibe Coding just before the Lunar New Year this year. My first project was a copywriting health check tool, and the website address is copywriting.vista.tw. I have taught writing for many years and have published several writing books, so I incorporated these know-hows and the content of the entire book. You just type a copy, and it will immediately give you a score, and it will be well-founded: it will first give you a summary and suggestions, and then grade it item by item based on different aspects, and it will also record the increase and decrease in your past scores. It looks simple on the surface, but what’s hidden inside is my decades of accumulation. After all, I always believe that copywriting power is your ability to make money.
Next is my personal official website vista.tw. I started from scratch during the Lunar New Year and Vibe Coded everything myself. Now it has more than 2,000 articles. The color of the side directory will change when you scroll. It has social sharing, voice reading, and also has English and Japanese versions. I even asked the system to automatically organize the AI articles I had written into a practical application guide, and pulled out frequently asked questions from search engines from my database to organize them. The entire page was done for me by AI. These days, everyone attaches great importance to SEO, AEO, and GEO, I have included these together.
Then there is solo.tw, which is much more complicated. It has a sales page, a registration system, an interactive quiz for business health check-up, a member login system, a database, a simple traffic backend, and a list magnet backend… It is clear at a glance who is requesting the e-book, what is the conversion rate, and what is the download rate. One person can really slowly build a complete set of marketing and operations backend.
*▲ When you know Vibe Coding, a person can slowly grow into a system and a brand. *
I also made a small tool called Concept Radar (concept.tw/radar). You throw in a very rough idea, for example, you want to develop a board game for marketers, and it will immediately talk to you, hone the concept, ask you how it is different from Monopoly, and then give you a complete set of suggestions in terms of audience, angle cutting, naming, and differentiation. It has no standard answer, because it is really a connected AI thinking with you.
Recently I also developed a system for writing books. The most interesting part of it is letting the AI play the role of an editor to torture me and ask a bunch of tough questions. To be honest, there are some questions that I have never thought about before, and they are overwhelming at the moment, but this is its value, forcing me to think of many corners that I would not have thought of before, and then help me organize them into a report.
I say this not to show off, but to let you see one thing: when you know how to Vibe Coding, you can slowly grow into a system and a brand. In the past, when we talked about [personal brand] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/ai-personal-brand-guide) and [one-person company] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/ai-era-one-person-company-book-review), we often stopped at ideals; now with AI, this is really feasible. As for how to turn this hands-on system into real income, I go deeper in another article: when knowing how to use AI is no longer valuable, what are the people who actually make money doing?
Turn AI into your personal assistant
Let me share another example that I use every day that best illustrates the power of AI agents.
Every morning when I turn on my computer, I say good morning to my AI. It will wake up my supervisor and help me do my morning report. I designed [a team of secretaries with a clear division of labor] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/ai-secretary-team): There is a virtual secretary who is in charge of the mailbox and helps me crawl from yesterday to today which letters are important, which can be read or not, and which topics are interesting; another virtual secretary is in charge of to-do items; others are in charge of the projects I have; I was doing academic research before, and there was even one who helped me keep track of the progress of my research. At night, when I say good night, it will run a daily review, ask me what I have completed today, where I am stuck, and my plans for tomorrow, and then automatically record these into my note-taking software.
Even smarter, it remembers context. For example, when I mentioned the live broadcast with Brother Chao last night, it knew that I already had an entry about Brother Chao, so it could connect it to whenever I had coffee or had a meeting with him. In the past, you had to manually remember and find these things, which was tiring and easy to miss; now it is almost completely automatic.
The keyword behind this is called MCP. As long as the software you use supports it, AI can call it and connect with it. I let Claude directly read my note library through MCP. Nowadays, more and more software is supported, from mailboxes, calendars to various note-taking tools. It means that you can weave a whole set of daily tools into a team of staff that will run errands for you. This is the biggest difference between an agent and a simple question and answer: it not only answers you, it does things for you.
I also let AI help me organize my desktop and hard drive. I guess many people’s desktops and hard drives are in a mess. There are several versions of the same file saved, and it takes a long time to find them when they need to use them. Now you can ask AI to analyze your hard drive first, and then tell it your identity, occupation, and usual work projects, and it can plan a clear set of numbers and classifications for you. All my own information is organized and numbered. This alone can save you a lot of time.

They all did it, and they weren’t engineers
I know you may still have a question in your mind: These are things that you, Vista, already know, can ordinary people really learn them?
OK, let me give you some real student cases.
I have a lawyer friend who considers himself a novice in web design. As a result, he created a professional-style personal brand web page and deployed it online in three hours. He also fully retained the ability to adjust the content by himself and did not have to be controlled by anyone. There is also a music teacher who built a music classroom website in three hours with absolutely zero knowledge. There is a time management lecturer who built his own web page from scratch and now uses Vibe Coding to create digital products, eliminating the need for engineers. There is also a university professor who specially took the high-speed train from Kaohsiung to Taipei to attend classes. After class, he told me that it was a worthwhile trip.
Recently, a certain media executive designed a sales webpage for a marketing project, putting the company’s billboard prices and supporting plans on a beautiful page. In the past, to design this kind of web page, you had to ask colleagues in the engineering department to schedule a schedule. A seemingly simple thing might take several days; but he only took my three-hour class before, and now he can make the first version in one afternoon. I saw the web page he designed, and I was actually very moved.
Another student is a mother. She wants to help her children in primary school make a math question bank. After she finished it, I suggested that she add a gamification mechanism, set off fireworks if she answers three questions in a row, or let her compete with classmates to turn learning into something he is willing to do.
Whether they’re a mom, a media executive, a lawyer, a music teacher, or a college professor, what they all have in common is that they all didn’t understand programming, but now they’ve all made what they want.
This is what I want to tell you most: this threshold is not as high as you think.
Why will I agree to Brother Chao this time?
This class was specially taught by me at the invitation of Brother Chao (Jiang Shichao). I want to talk specifically about why.
Brother Chao is the founder of [Super Dimension Strategy] (https://chaoweis.com/) and has been doing brand marketing for more than ten years. Last year he also published a book “[Super Dimension Vision] (https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0011033865?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-202606)”. He is a very typical and powerful business practitioner. After he started Vibe Coding, he did a lot of things that surprised me: He thought GA4 was difficult to use, so he built a data backend by himself, redefined the bounce rate and effective reading rate, and calculated the confidence score of each piece of content; he turned government public information into consumption heat maps, high-income maps, and category maps, which can directly tell customers where to set up locations; he even used AI to take on a foreign business case worth more than RMB 400,000, by creating a campaign website in two hours and directly demoing the proposal.
Brother Chao has a saying that I agree with: AI is particularly powerful for people with work experience and understanding of business scenarios. Having said that, if you can just write programs, it would be a pity if it lacks business scenarios.
This is exactly the combination that this class wants to bring to you: not only to help you smoothen your work flow and produce works, but also to help you connect these abilities to real business from the perspective of marketing and business implementation. Technology is not the key, but whether it can be used in your business is.
What will you take away in these three hours?
No matter how much I say, let’s get back to the most practical. This is a three-hour practical class that focuses on lectures and hands-on practice. In three hours, you’ll take away this:
First, a truly online work. It has a website address, can be shared, and can be taken away on the same day. It is not a file stored in a computer.
Second, a complete set of Vibe Coding workflow, from describing ideas to deployment and launch, can be used in your own projects on the first day back.
Third, don’t just learn one tool. We will use Antigravity as the main force so that you can use it flexibly when you return.
Specifically, in this class you will: Understand what Vibe Coding is and why it doesn’t matter if you don’t know the program; create a sales page from scratch, using the four-part structure of grabbing attention at the beginning, telling the other party’s troubles, showing real cases, and guiding the other party to take action. The complete prototype can be completed in one afternoon; quickly build the homepage, about us, service items or contact page of the brand website; learn to use dialogue to improve the rhythm of the work round by round; and finally run through the entire process of deployment and launch, so that your work has a real website.
Let me emphasize the comparison again: what is stored in the computer is called a file, and what has a website address is called a work.
Because of the need for hands-on teaching, this class deliberately does not accept too many people, about twenty at most. After all, when there are more people, the early environment settings cannot take care of everyone. I would rather have less, but also ensure that every student can leave with a real work.
Calculate a very simple account
Let’s settle an account.
Outsourcing the design of a sales page, the market price starts at about NT$15,000. Ask an engineer to help you change the version once, and it will take ten hours, which is about 15,000 yuan. And money is one thing. It may not be what you imagine it will be, and it also depends on other people’s schedules.
This class is early bird price NT$4,800 (original price NT$6,800, early bird discount until June 30). But what the money buys is not a page, but a capability. After you learn it, every time you want to create a new web page, new tool, or new game, you can do it yourself without having to wait for anyone.
Registration is very simple: after [filling out the registration form] (https://ubmg.xyz/courses/vibe-coding-workshop/), you will go to the secure payment page of Blue New Cash to complete the payment. If the payment is successful, the registration is completed, and the system will automatically send you a confirmation letter. All you need is a laptop with Internet access, either Windows or Mac. Antigravity has a free plan that can be used in classes. For other tools and pre-class preparations, Chaoge’s little helpers will notify you via email or LINE group.
Three hesitations you may still have
At this point in our conversation, I guess you may still have a few thoughts stuck in your mind. I will answer you one by one.
The first one: I have no programming background at all, can I keep up? Yes, and this class is designed for you. Let me say it again, the quality of Vibe Coding depends 70% on description and 30% on technology. You don’t need to understand the code, as long as you can clearly explain what you want. Many people will be a little scared when they see the black interface of the terminal for the first time, but as long as you overcome that psychological threshold, you will find that it is actually very cute, because it can help you make all kinds of interesting things. If you are an out-and-out liberal arts person, you can refer to the [Guidebook that even liberal arts students can get started] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/claude-code-liberal-arts-guide) that I wrote. I will take you through the entire process step by step.
Second: I have used ChatGPT or Claude, what is the difference in this class? Use ChatGPT to write copy and make abstracts. It allows you to think faster, but you still have to wait for designers or engineers to make things. Vibe Coding solves another problem, allowing you to create your own ideas and go online on the same day without having to wait for anyone. The focus of this class is not which tool is the most powerful, but the entire process from idea to launch.
Third: Will you really use it after learning it, or will you forget it after learning it? This is why I insist on holding hands and limiting the number of people. In three hours, you don’t watch me do it, you do it yourself. What you take away is a work that you have completed by yourself and has a website address, as well as a set of workflows that can be applied on the first day back. Ability grows within you and will not be returned to the teacher after class.
I also want to remind you of one thing. This is a point that Brother Chao made very well in the live broadcast. He has been creating social content for 12 years and has accumulated more than a million words. However, most of this content is stored in Facebook communities and cannot be crawled by Google. Therefore, in the world of search engines, algorithms hardly recognize him. Nowadays, AI recommendation, GEO, and AEO are on the rise, and what they value is a concept called EEAT, which talks about experience, expertise, authority, and credibility. This means that you need to have your own home venue, your own content assets, and continue to accumulate your views. The tracking numbers on social platforms may seem impressive, but they are temporarily lent to you by the platform and will be suspended immediately; what truly belongs to you is your website, your list, and your works. And these are exactly what Vibe Coding can help you create with your own hands.
Finally, I want to say to you
Let’s go back to the scene at the beginning.
Your head is always racing ahead. This is not a shortcoming. It is the most precious gift of a marketer. In the past this talent was often stuck because you had to wait for someone to do it for you. But this year, the rules of the game have changed. When AI is so powerful that it can help you make almost anything, the ability to think of good ideas and describe them clearly has become the rarest and most valuable ability. And this is originally your home court.
My deepest experience is this: I used to dislike talking about my ideas with people who can write programs, because after talking, the idea might be taken away, and I wouldn’t be able to make it. Now I am very secure because I have ideas, I can implement them myself, and I am not afraid of them being stolen. The feeling of putting what is in your mind into practice is really addictive.
It is true that each of us actually holds a ticket to enter the AI era. The only difference lies in whether you are willing to bravely open the door in front of you and walk in.
If you have been thinking about it for a long time but have been waiting for someone else, I invite you to do it yourself this time. After three hours, take home a work that truly belongs to you.
Dear friends, let’s meet in class.
