That thing you know but have to repeat every time deserves to be written down as a card: Instructions for turning your special skills into AI

The most valuable thing in your mind, don’t just keep it in your mind *▲ Only the ability to write it down can be handed over: to new people, to outsourcing, or directly to AI. *

Everyone has a set of skills that they are very familiar with but cannot express clearly.

For example, it may be that you are very good at replying to customer complaint letters that make you angry at a glance; it may be that you can organize a two-hour, busy meeting into a key page that the boss can read in thirty seconds; or it may be that your quotation is particularly accurate and you know where to give in and where not to withdraw? Anyway, those things that you do quickly and well, almost intuitively.

But I have to say, the problem lies in this intuition. Because it’s in your head, you have to tell it all over again every time you want to hand it over to someone else; every time you want to ask the AI for help, you have to retype a long list of prompts. That set of skills is very valuable, but it is always stuck in you. There is no way to copy or amplify it.

I often say something: only by writing it down can you hand it over. Leave it to new people, leave it to outsourcing, or leave it directly to AI.

The problem is, most people don’t know how to write clearly what they have in their head. If you write too detailed, it will be like a running account, if you write too rough, others will still make mistakes. The most difficult step - how do you judge whether you have done well or not - is often the most difficult to say, but that is the essence.

So I made a tool called “Hot Trick Recipe Card”.

It will be like a patient editor, asking you step by step: when to do this, what to prepare before starting, how to take the steps, and the most critical one - your private temperament, where you are most likely to make mistakes, and what judgment you rely on. After answering, it will help you organize it into a clear recipe card.

And, it gives you more than just one card. In addition to a card that people can see and can be handed over directly, it will also help you produce a version for AI - the format is organized and can be used by pasting it into ChatGPT or Claude. From now on, when you ask AI to do this, you don’t have to repeat it every time, because your ability has become an instruction manual for it.

Having said that, this is all about moving all your efforts from your head to a place where you can call repeatedly. If you want to see a more complete version of this concept, I wrote the entire content production line into a skill process, which I recorded in this article: [I wrote a content production line into a skill] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/turn-your-workflow-into-a-skill).

This tool is also placed in my AI Lab. It is an early benefit for subscribing members and will only be made public in mid-August. If you want to write your special skills into cards first, you are welcome to subscribe to the “Vista AI Inspiration Supply Station”. New tools will be available to subscribers first.

When you start writing down each skill into a card and handing it over to AI to follow, you are actually doing something bigger: handing over the entire workflow piece by piece. This is what I have always emphasized - [The starting point for making full use of AI is not to pick a tool, but to first dismantle your workflow] (https://www.vista.tw/blog/ai-agent-era-decompose-your-workflow).

To make a thing into a card, you can just rely on this tool; but if you want to hand over the entire process to AI stably (https://www.vista.tw/blog/claude-code-content-creation-workflow), you need not only judgment, but the ability to do it. In the “Vibe Coding for Claude Code Practical Workshop”, I will take you three hours to make it yourself in the terminal.
