The author of this article is Uncle Tiger Consultant. He believes that the super consulting power of the so-called “silver-haired consultants” is the pursuit of mental perfection, which is also a way of consultant learning. Thank you for authorizing the “Small to win big” website for reprinting, and I would like to express my gratitude.

Eye-catching, this is Tiger’s first impression of the book “Self-owned Entrepreneurship Bible”.

After browsing through it roughly, I found “[Self-owned Business Bible](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010755683?utm_source=vista&utm _medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201811)” is a guide book for first-time individual entrepreneurs who start a business at home, women who start a business at home, and seniors who start their own business again, so it is written in a simple and easy-to-read format. But for those who have read many Entrepreneurship and [Slash Books](https://www.slashie .today/search/label/%E8%AE%80%E6%9B%B8%E5%BF%83%E5%BE%97?&max-results=8), it seems a bit simple, and some parts are just clickable. Moreover, in terms of community operation and personal brand development, the key points are listed in principle. Although the author’s opinions and thoughts are included, there are no real cases. Therefore, I think this book can be used as a reference review project for new personal businesses, but the content is not explained in detail in the book.

What makes me feel different, but also a bit regretful, is that the author spends a lot of space introducing the so-called “personal productization” and “product price”. What makes me happy is that many books talk about personal branding, but they don’t often mention how to commercialize and sell your own products.

Because personal products are very different, apart from talking about experience, many guide books for individual entrepreneurs deliberately skip this section and talk about product types, properties, extensions and pricing. Unfortunately, there are no examples; maybe the author uses the workshop method, and it is not necessarily known which part to retain, so I put the “Self-owned Entrepreneurship Bible” (https://www.books.com.tw/e xep/assp.php/vista/products/0010755683?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201811)》is positioned as a beginner’s book.

The last chapter of the book mentions avoiding frivolous legalization, but there is only one chapter, obviously a reminder. Reading between the lines, it fully shows that the author discusses “individuals” as products, and discusses this concept from the perspective of marketing mix, combined with self-media and home-based entrepreneurship.

Therefore, I think “[Self-owned Entrepreneurship Bible](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010755683?utm_source=vista&utm _medium=ap-books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201811)” is a basic concept book, not an advanced experience book. This must be clarified and understood before starting to read. It emphasizes that you can get started without any savings, expertise and connections, and that interest, experience and expertise can all become “commodities” and that working people, women or retired seniors can invest. This reminds me of “part-time work from home” and “working from home”.

In fact, “one-person enterprise” is actually a very similar concept. As for the annual income of 10 million yen (approximately NT$2.5 million), you can completely get rid of the pain of working for a boss. In other words, you can avoid the hardships of office workers and pursue financial and time freedom. I believe this is just a slogan to attract startups. Just listen to it and don’t take it seriously! This book does tend to downplay the hard work of starting a business.

“[Self-owned Business Bible](https://www.books.com.tw/exep/assp.php/vista/products/0010755683?utm_source=vista&utm_medium=ap -books&utm_content=recommend&utm_campaign=ap-201811)” proposes eight key areas for success, namely product content, personal brand management, website and system, customer acquisition and marketing, funds, personal behavior control, team and vision. This chapter on products is extremely rich, with clear paragraphs and detailed descriptions. I personally think it is the essence of the book. For example, there are 24 variations in creating products, the pricing method of pine, bamboo and plum, affiliate marketing and avoiding free, etc. I think it can give good concepts to start-ups.

In the unit of personal brand management and Internet utilization, the author puts forward some key points and guides the basic concepts step by step. The author strongly emphasizes the importance of “cooperation” and points out that the team needs “powerful” members, but also points out that it is not suitable for legalization (that is, starting a company). These two things are actually contradictory. After all, the concept of “one-man business” is inherently different from starting a company, but organizing a team, regardless of reality, will transcend personal business and tilt towards corporateization. Therefore, I personally feel that this book places too much emphasis on “one person’s” career, which may cause some slight disharmony.

But in any case, the book “Self-owned Entrepreneurship Bible” is still worth the money.
