"Seven-day Lightning Writing Camp" learning experience: master new knowledge and broaden your horizons

Thanks to Teacher Vista for offering the course “Seven-day Lightning Writing Camp”, which was an important turning point in my life. Among the large community of 198 people participating in the “Seven-Day Lightning Writing Camp”, I learned a lot from the teachers’ teachings and discussions during this period. The teacher’s feedback gave me a new understanding of writing.

The knowledge shared by Teacher Vista in the community group is very rich, including how to improve one’s writing skills, communicate and interact with peers, how to obtain writing inspiration (https://www.vistacheng.com/2024/02/right-brained-thinking.html) and creativity, explore various possibilities of writing, use of punctuation marks, and share in briefings, videos, etc., thus enriching our writing materials and styles.

Teacher Vista said that how to get inspiration and creativity for writing is to observe the things around you, large supermarkets, and convenience stores (watching people coming and going, chatting over coffee or communicating with others), and get inspiration from other people’s lives. The teacher’s explanations were very clear and easy to understand, allowing me to master the knowledge quickly.

In addition to sharing knowledge, Mr. Vista also often organizes discussions in the community. The questions raised by the teacher were very valuable and allowed me to think deeply about the problem. During the discussion and interaction, I was able to hear the opinions of other students, which gave me a more comprehensive understanding of the problem.

Through Teacher Vista’s teaching and discussion on the live broadcast, I learned a lot of knowledge and broadened my horizons. I am very grateful to Teacher Vista for his dedication.

After I retired, I had some free time. I’ve been thinking about how to use this time to do something meaningful. Writing is a very difficult challenge for me, especially for beginners. Because originally I was just recording my daily life, not writing at all.

I remember that when I first started taking classes, I was still very new to writing, and I also encountered some difficulties in learning writing. The teacher always explains patiently and helps me solve problems. With the encouragement and help of my teachers, I gradually mastered the learning methods of writing skills and made great progress.

Now I enjoy writing and I think it’s a great way to share my knowledge and experience.

After taking the course “[Seven-day Lightning Writing Camp] (https://vista.im/lightning)” taught by Teacher Vista, I can easily set my own writing goals and set three writing plans for my own writing: short-term goals, mid-term goals, and long-term goals.

1. Short-term goals: write a paragraph of text every day, complete an article every week, or complete a writing project, etc. Challenge yourself and continuously improve your writing skills. Use A4 paper, white board or label paper to record.
2. Mid-term goal: read 3 hours a day. Review every night and declutter at the end of each week. Use scattered time to challenge your trivial time/waiting time every day and make full use of it (find information online, learn to write, think logically, and get enough rest).
3. Long-term goals: Review your time management status, promptly adjust to an effective work plan, and achieve the task list goal of completing the writing deadline and time range every day. Set items with clear dates and put them in the corresponding calendar. My goal is to complete 15 articles every month.

Finally, I am very grateful to Teacher Vista for her teaching and discussion in the course “Seven-Day Lightning Writing Camp”. The teacher’s teachings helped me learn a lot of knowledge and gave me a new understanding of writing. I believe that with the help of teachers, I will be able to make greater progress on the road of writing.
