Challenge the determination to publish a book

Publishing a book is as difficult for me as climbing a mountain. But after I turned fifty, I wanted to do something that challenged myself.

When writing “The Best Gift in Life”, some past events came to mind, some happy and some with mixed emotions. During the process of brewing and thinking, I sometimes fell into a fog and lost the direction of writing. Sometimes I became obsessed with the description of certain details. The choice made me suffer a lot.

However, my thinking process also reminded me of some long-forgotten things. For example, every time my daughter told her father that she liked that dish, he would let it appear on the table for a month until we begged for mercy. In addition, it also reminds me that I have long forgotten the K bookshop where I used to prepare for civil service examinations. Now it has quietly disappeared…
