The author of this article, Mason, is a business humanistic coach and an entrepreneur who loves adventure. After attending a growth hacker speaking event, I fell in love with the marketing technology and direction of Inbound Marketing. Thank you for authorizing “Content Hacker” to reprint. Thank you hereby.

When attending the [Growth Hacker Annual Conference] (https://www.contenthacker.today/2017/12/2016-2017-ghst-seminar-summary.html) at the end of last year (2017), the author heard [Green Vine Vitality] (https://www.contenthacker.today/2017 /12/2017ghst-greenvines-content-marketing.html) founder Zheng Hanrui shared [inbound marketing I was deeply inspired by the concept of content marketing and began to learn content marketing knowledge from various sources.

While searching and learning related knowledge on the Internet, I happened to see Content Hacker sharing the analysis of Greenvines’ inbound marketing model. Later, I further subscribed to Content Hacker’s blog articles, and thus learned about and participated in this Content Hacker Reading Club (CHRC1).

After listening to the discussion between the two teachers and all the students in this book club, I would like to share some thoughts and feelings with you:

1. After Mr. Baixiong organized and introduced the key points of the book, the members of the book club can more logically understand the essence of the book “[The Power of Content] (https://www.books.com.tw/products/0010689009)”, such as the planning and execution steps and important indicators (KPIs) of content marketing.

2. When Mr. Bai Xiong explained the key points of the briefing summary, I encountered a term that confused me─persona. When we make proposals to customers, we often use the term target audience insight; we seem to be confused about the difference between the two.

After Teacher Vista added some explanations, all students could have a clearer understanding of the difference—persona requires a more detailed description of the consumer profile. In addition to gender, persona should be more detailed in terms of age group, nature of work and other characteristics, such as a 32-year-old married female mid-level financial executive with a child. In addition, the influence of personal values must also be added, such as whether to pursue a natural and organic life, etc.

3. In the second half of the practical exercise, all students will be divided into groups and follow the steps in the book to discuss their own or the company’s products [content marketing strategy] (https://www.contenthacker.today/search?q=%E5%85%A7%E5%AE%B9%E8%A1%8C%E9%8A%B7%E7%AD%96%E7%95%A5), and directly realize the extent to which they have absorbed the introduction content. Through this exercise, we learned that an effective content marketing strategy is closely linked. It is necessary to accurately identify the intersection between the unique features of a product or service and the needs of the target audience in order to produce content that consumers can relate to.

4. From Teacher Vista’s explanations for each group of students’ on-stage reports, I deeply felt that content marketing is a marketing technology and topic worth learning, and it also completely opened up the author’s motivation for learning. It is better to stand up and take action than to sit back and talk. This experience is the beginning of my writing.

In the past, I heard that content marketing is a very powerful marketing method, but I always felt that my typing skills were slow and my writing skills were poor. Therefore, I always maintained the mentality of “leave the job of creating content to others”.

But after this book meeting, I became motivated to learn more about content marketing this year and develop my ability to create content. Everything is difficult at the beginning, but as Teacher Vista said, you have to put some pressure on yourself and write something every day. I believe I can do it.

In the future, I hope to use [Content Hacker Related Activities] (https://www.contenthacker.today/p/lecture.html) to learn more about domestic case sharing and analysis of inbound marketing, content marketing, and growth hacking, or to improve information on related book introductions in these marketing fields, so that the content of the event will be more solid and enriched.
